PACCAR Australia together with the Box Hill Institute saw fifteen PACCAR employees graduate in the Diploma of Engineering this week.
Fortnightly classes were held over an 18 month program, both delivered onsite at Bayswater head office as well as some sessions facilitated at Box Hill.
Partnering with Box Hill Institute and offering this diploma is one of the ways PACCAR Australia create skills pathways for the workforce, provide flexible non-traditional ways to develop employees, while enabling PACCAR to design and develop the next generation of trucks.
The Diploma of Engineering provides graduates with an opportunity to gain both Engineering skills as well as a formal qualification with Australia’s biggest truck manufacturer.
Managing Director Andrew Hadjikakou presented the qualification to the graduates together with Tony Watson and Merrilyn Wolf from Box Hill Institute. Special thanks to Ian Turnbull for lecturing and coaching the students.
