This 7th edition of PACCAR Post takes us as far afield as Brazil, where PACCAR have just announced the site for a new DAF assembly facility. Closer to home, we welcomed the Federal Treasurer Wayne Swan to the plant, where he gets some firsthand exposure to our local manufacturing quality, including our latest addition the K200, which is also featured in this edition.

DAF's environmental credentials are well known, with the EEV (Environmentally Enhanced Vehicle) range available in 2011 continuing to help companies lower their environmental footprint even further. Our main feature of this issue is the upcoming Brisbane Truck Show to be held on Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th May at the RNA showgrounds. The PACCAR world stand will display a range of PACCAR product including 10 Kenworth trucks, 6 DAF trucks, an ALLRig parts display, PACCAR Financial support and a merchandise shop.
